EkwalPlaying System™EkwalPlaying System™ was developed from algorithms created by researchers in software adaptability. We enriched these jobs to meet playability objectives and we adapted them to meet the requirements of the production of video games. ![]() EkwalPlaying System™EkwalPlaying System™ analyses the player's actions within the context of the game to estimate his intentions in terms of objectives (cross an obstacle, manage an enemy), interprets the player's level in comparison with this objective and give adequate value in the game's engine to adjust the game in real-time. EkwalPlaying System™ is made of two parts: a graphics editor (EkwalDesigner™) and a SDK (EkwalRuntime™) which are totally independent from the game engine and designed to be easily integrated into the game production workflow. EkwalDesigner™EkwalDesigner™ allows you to create the models of analysis of the player's behaviour, and to represent them under a cartographic form. This graphic approach, based on autonomous conceptual blocks, makes it a production tool easy to be used by any member of the game production team. Models conceived with EkwalDesigner™ are directly interpreted by EkwalRuntime™ in the game. Any update is immediately taken into consideration at the level of the model of analysis and directly reverberated in the game. EkwalRuntime™EkwalRuntime™ analyses in real-time the player's actions according to models conceived at the time of the creation of the game and adapts the game's values according to incoming information (value of the amplitude of the jump of a character, value of damage inflicted by an enemy, number of available items or value of these items, size of a box of collision, performance of an enemy...) EkwalRuntime™ has been developed by a team with great game development experience on PC and consoles. This is why it is fast and easy to integrate into any game engine. Developed in Standard C++ language, fully independent from the system, the platform or external Api, EkwalRuntime™ libraries are adaptable on all platforms. The system uses its own memory allocator, therefore you just need to give it enough space to work for it to be fully independent. The Software Development Kit takes a very small CPU time inside the final application. |
